I’m looking to upgrade from my current Triban RC100 to a “proper” road/endurance bike. I will start training for a half/70.3 Ironman in the next couple weeks so it should fit that purpose too.
Ideally the bike has Shimano 105 groupset, disc brakes and costs under €2000.
I’ve been looking at a few different options from Specialized, Canyon, Cannondale etc., but open to any recommendations really! Some of the ones I’ve been considering:

Do I need an actual road bike or am I better suited with an endurance geometry with the ironman in mind? Between both Canyons, what are the major differences? HELP PLEASEEEE! 🙂
