Hi,
I’m working on a 2015 Scott Big Ed fatbike with unknown service history. The bottom bracket started creaking and spinning very rough, so I pulled it out. Inside was pretty bad: dust seals had come off and the bearings were rusted.

The frame has press-fit BB with a 41 mm inner diameter and 121 mm width, and the cranks are e*thirteen with a 30 mm spindle.
Originally it has two separate press-fit bearings and a short plastic tube that didn’t actually reach the bearings, so the shell was basically open inside.

A local Scott dealer offers this option:

And it looks like its just replacement bearings.

I also found this e*thirteen press-fit BB: https://www.bike-discount.de/en/e-thirteen-bb89.5/92/bb107/bb121-press-fit-bottom-bracket
From the pictures it looks like this one includes a full-length center tube, possibly adjustable.

Do you recommend a BB with a full center sleeve for fatbike or are separate bearings acceptable if installed correctly?

Are there any better or more durable PF41x121 options from other brands worth considering?

Thanks
