professional Speedway in the UK had two golden eras the first one in the’ 40s post World War II and the second one in the’ 70s by 1978 there were 39 tracks in the top two tiers and Speedway could boast of being the second biggest spectator sport in the UK since then Speedway has gone into a decline [Music] [Music] [Music]

  1. Such a sad state of affairs You never get any trouble at speedway meetings. Fans are always friendly to each other. I first went in 1974 and was hooked. Now people maybe under 35 would not even know what speedway is sadly
