I bought this on Marketplace, and I was surprised to see it had a Mongoose frame and seat, but what about the handlebars? And those tires? I don't know what model it is or if it's assembled from parts, but is it worth it?For $70? It has sealed bearings, a mid-center, and all that.

A working bike for 70 dollars is a steal no matter what. Sealed bearings is a solid plus. And if it rides, ride it. Have fun!
Yes looks like a solid bike
Im not sure but the forks look kinda dated or just off of a budget complete (probably both) but as long as u have a modern frame/ headset u can invest in an aftermarket one after while. Personally I’d try to remove the break attachments if possible, the stickers and paint splatter. Rest looks solid and depending on where u are 70 is a decent offer.
Would say it’s a Mongoose Legion L500 quite stock. Had one at least all Cromo. Look in the head set. Guess the fork has a clamp not welded threading. Then it’s stock fork. It rides good though but you can get it for like 300 new.
I wouldn’t buy it but that’s me I avoid American bb
If you have the money u can choose if not you buy what you get and send it. I started with Mongoose got it for 250 and was ok. Now German WTP that’s an upgrade but also in the invest. I would check the chain maybe replace and go for it.
Hell ya dude looks like you’ve got a hell of a bike for 70. Idk what brand bars those are but look around at 4pc bars those alone are 70 or more
YES!….Get out and ride 🤘
