Twice now have I bought brand new canyon bikes, (Endurace cf 7 and Ultimate cf sl 7 axs) just for the frame to shit the bed in under a thousand kilometers respectively. My LBS tells me they see warranties on Canyons frames at a rate much greater than any other manufacturer despite how little they make up in US sales. Has Canyons quality control fallen apart because of new ownership? Is the US simply the dumping ground for the worst of their frames? Perhaps this is why their sales have fallen 34 million pounds and lost 43% of the companies valuation since new ownership?

Never had a canyon, but I’ve never heard so much negative and so little positive about any other brand
I’ve put 3k miles on my cf grail this year and haven’t had an issue, just anectodotal experience though. I haven’t exactly been easy on the bike, my Garmin mount broke on a jump and I’ve had a couple crashes although nothing major. Very little maintenence on my part other than chain and checking bearing preload for bb and headset
New ownership?
My group has a lot of Canyons and I’m at nearly 15,000 miles on my Aeroad, no issues. I think it’s always just a roll of the dice with any brand. All have their positive and negative experiences.
My ultimate has 30,098.2 miles…

Just warranty and move on
I feel there’s a untold story here.
I just recently bought a used CF 7 Endurace this year and put 1600 kms on it over the past 6 months and no problems whatsoever. Located in the US as well. I wonder why your frames are such bad quality.
