Forgot about this one, heading out of Morella on some fun steep singletrack. My route so far has been Barcelona to Valencia the slowest/stupidest way possible, up through the mountains. Lots of 4k-6k elevation gain days. From Valencia I’ve vaguely been following the bikepacking.com Altravesur route, although I’ve honestly spent most of my time on gravel/singletrack alternatives because in classic bikepacking.com fashion it’s kind of an ass route as published. Currently in Albacete debating on whether I should actually head up into the freezing cold mountains or wimp out and head down to the coast.
I’m leaning towards more mountains because I’m stubborn and dumb.

Starting mid December from Barca, what clothing would you suggest? Is a long-sleeve and a down jacket enough? And would you suggest a winter sleepingbag?
