Got the 11 speed 1by and I was realy annoyed that the 12 speed version launched shortly after… Either way I swapped the group and after selling the old one it sets me back about 200 € (the price difference to the 8 1by). Pretty glad I went this way because I now have the 42t chainring and the 10-51 cassette 🙂

I cheaped out the brake leavers (because they weight like 5 grams more and I neither need servo wave or the new flare hoods) and the cassette (cassette and chain were cheaper than the xt cassette and it also uses hg+). I’ve reused the brake calipers because they work flawless but I might upgrade to the br rx820 later in the future.
