Hey guys, geniune question.

Carbon frame Scott Scale 700 SL
Owned this bike for 3 years and had a bit of hard jumps throughout this time.

The inside of the steering head has 2 symmetrical… What seem to be cracks but looks just like a few layers of carbon fibre bent inside, cuz the outside looks completely smooth.

I didn't disassemble it straightaway from the factory so can't know if it was there forever.

Is that a crack?

Oh, dude… That’s definitely a buckling laminate, located in the highest stress area of the bike.

Do not ride that. I’m sorry. Get it appraised by a repair shop if it is not under warranty.
