Shimano GRX setup, bought a secondhand bike on ebay when it arrived couldnt put the front wheel in as the caliper was rolled in slightly enough to prevent the disc fall into place. i loosened off and fit but then when tightening the caliper back on it rolls back into a position where the wheel cannot be turned, i have ordered a new Mount adaptor but thought this was strange to happen during transit?

Thats strange. never seen this. The mount adapters are small and solid alu.
