maybe i’ve had bad luck but i feel like bikes are way more expensive in germany (xbikes at least) than the uk for example

Absolutely overpriced. By the looks of it, it was probably bought of some old chap for 75€ who left the bike untouched for 30 years and wanted to get rid of it before his death.
