All right, guys. So, today I’m going to do a long ride. I’m riding in Louisopas. It’s western part of Ukraine. And today I’m going to ride 174 K. It’s regular Saturday long ride and my road is following. I’m starting from Lu after I’m moving to the from the I’m going to Melatic cobblestone factory. From there I’m going to Bka. After Burka I’m going to sir. From S I’m going to Rohhaten. And from Roaten I’m going to Here from Hodder I’m going to Bka from Bka again to Malati then to Salona and Zentle wave. So currently it’s a little bit cold it’s 0° Celsius. So after 2 hours temperature going to increase about to 7°. So it’s a little bit freaking cold right now. But I just need to survive first few hours of my ride. So yeah, see you a small hill. It’s freaking cold, but I need to survive first two hours of my ride. So, very soon I’m going to go to patrol station and do some first breakfast or whatever we can call it. So for this type of the ride, I need around 600 g of carbs. So I have 10 gels. I’m going to eat one gel every 10 every 20 kilometers. I have 1.5 lit of electrolyte and I’m planning to do three stops. So the first stop is going to be on kilometer like uh in a few minutes. Uh the second one is going to be on kilometer 110 and the last one it will be like on kilometer 138 on every stop I have some nutrition plan on patrol station I am drinking latte small latte small coke and also one kinder bueno and one French hot dog. So yeah, see you on the next Coca-Cola, coffee latte, some burger and kinderg after 105 km. I’m planning not to do any stops and ride non-stop. So we started the temperature is starting to increasing. So currently I need to ride some dangerous road about I believe next 7 kilometers. It’s going to be a little bit dangerous as you can see. Uh it’s a short road a lot of trucks. So yeah, so and after I believe it’s going to be more hot and it will mean that I’ll be able to record more often. So yeah uh let me let’s keep going. Go to the right side of me it is village that is called croto ocean and to the sorry to the right side to me and to the left side to me it is village that is called pasik zitski. So yeah. Oh some bumpy road. [Applause] Yeah. Oh, it’s red. When you see a red light, it means that you need like to decrease your speed and wait for a green one. Yeah, I’m going to pass all of these cars. The temperature started to increase and yeah you see that on the left side with me there was a sign passing the Britski. Oh, you can’t you can’t even imagine how it is beautiful to ride a bike whenever it’s autumn in Ukraine. By the way, forgot to mention that today it’s the first of uh the 1st of November. It’s hard to believe that just in one month it’s going to be winter. And today it’s very good gate for me to ride because I believe it’s the last uh because I believe it’s the last sunny day or hot day uh in this year whenever it will be possible to do to do a long ride like this. So yeah, now I’m coming across the bridge. [Music] Okay. So right now we need to turn right. Let’s make a sign that we are turning right. So everybody is aware what we are doing. A little bit of uphill. Okay. So, so I just entered I just enter city that is called the video. My next stop it is the lat. So right now it’s very for myself is a little bit of hot and it is sunshine. It’s a little bit narrow path right now. I mean for narrow pass for cyclist because you can see there is no enough space but I believe I just went through and right now it’s going to be small downhill like very very kindly small uh after about 400 m I’ll need to turn right and I’ll not moving on such a big traffic. It’s going to be much more safe for me right and probably I’ll start to record this video more often. Okay, I don’t have any clue what my speed right now. cast just a sign right now after 6 kilometers. It’s cobblestone factory as I mentioned previously. So as you can see right now there going to be some kind of a truck that is transporting cobblestone on Ukrainian cobblestone is we are calling it brinka and you can see that for example right now it’s going to be cobblestone road I’m approaching to village militi and just right on right side of me you will be able able to see Mati cobblestone factory. So yeah, I believe that mostly all new cobblestone that is selling will probably it is from this factory. But I need to warn you I’m not an expert in this topic. But yeah, so you can see it is right of me like here is this cobblestone factory. I hope this driver is able to see me and you see yeah he was able to see me and you see the road is still cobblestone. So last I believe 5 kilometers that I was riding it was only cobblestone. So it’s it’s fun. And right now I can smell very terrible stench. I don’t know. I believe it’s some agricultural stuff that that is used by farmers. Yeah. I hope this truck driver is also able to see me because if he will block me a road, I’ll need a break. Oh, and you can see it’s the end of a cobblestone. So, yeah. The good news that after I just finished my breakfast, my fingers on my arms started to be freaking be frozen. But right now I don’t know how I managed to heat them up and it mean that I’m comfortable. So soon I’ll need to eat my first gel. And on my next stop when I’m going to continue my recording, I’m going to break my personal record on Will Hovet’s climb. Last time it was 2 minutes 8 seconds. Right now I’m going I’ll do all my best to improve that result. So yeah, let me just finish this small downhill uphill and after and after I’ll see you on willet climb. Okay, I believe it’s time to end this part of the video. Why is moving so slow? Oh, I hate this cars. You know they just uh you know they they are just trying like to short their way and they are not paying attention like that. They could be like driver and they cannot make they make some not comfortable conditions for him to drive. So yeah, but why I started this video? Because just take a look of this uh view. So my tactic for this one is following like flat flat sections I’m driving in zone one zone two hilly sections I’m trying to ride them in zone three four so you will so my breathing going to be more heavily right now on my garment I cannot see my heart rate and my what I can only see 830 30 m left. Right now I’m waiting 85 kg when I just started. I was barely able to ride. I tested my FTP. It was like 120 but right now my FTP is 300 and one like I’m using structural training. I I I have some kind of two weeks, three weeks building block and one week of recovery. I am training every day. So it means that starting from February I haven’t missed any day of training. Only there was one day when I was poisoned. It was on first April. But currently yes currently I’m happy in what shape am I right now? And my goals is to increase my FTP to 4.0 zero or watts per kilogram or even high. So currently I’m working on it. So let me concentrate on this hill and afterwards they’re going to be downhill. Garmin telling that grade is 1%. But it’s about 11 I believe. Hey, Okay, there is car behind me but not there’s going to be very long descent. Yay, I managed to set the here. Go. Now I need to come across the city and after they’re going to be the most hilly section of the road I’ll meet go to swish castle like I’m not going to visit it I’m just trying to burka I didn’t expect that I’m going to record so much so I just have 65% % of camera left. Uh, I’m going to I’m going to attempt the hardest climb for today. And yeah, so currently the road condition is not so pretty as I expected. It’s uh very very bumpy ride right now. So next stop it is to come to intersection of roads and to the left there will be Pushani and to the right they’re going to be road to Rohhatin like 30 kilome that is my next milestone. Yeah, they just that it’s insane somehow to pass through. Oh man, how dangerous it is. As I as I mentioned before, I need to survive first two hours like I survived and now it’s comfortable very comfortable and temperature going to get up and like my cycling abilities like it my what’s going also to be increased because currently my body need extra energy in order to heat up because it was a little bit cold. Good news is that nothing is freezing anymore. Like my arms, I can feel every finger and on my legs as well. And right now you see that I’m riding such a beautiful place. So yeah, I already wrote 55 kilometers, 119 left. Not so much. I previously mentioned you can see that a lot of agriculture machines moving approaching me. So if I’ll turn left right now uh I’ll be moving to Perashan but I am moving to the right. And what else interesting like soon I am going to leave like the borders of Leivska oblast orka district and I’m going to approach and come to Ivana Franciska Obless from there I’m going to move to Roaten and yeah thank you for attention 58 kilometers done 115 kilometers later. I mentioned that I’m going to eat 10 gels. Each gel contains 23 g of carbs. Maybe you have a question, how am I doing any stops whenever I am refueling myself? And the answer is no. And right now I’m going to show you how how I how am I eating. So first of all I’m making sure that there is no any car behind me. So right now at my radar I can see that there is no any car. I’m opening front back here. And the next quest is take out some gel from this bag. Quest completed. So right now it is a gel that I’m going to eat. It contains 23 g of carbs. After you finished eating a gel, you need to make sure that you are not polluting environment. And I’m putting it to the back of my pocket like this. And another part of it. And after eating is finished, I need to take a bottle of electrolytes and drink. [Music] So yeah. So right now I showed you how I’m typically eating gels. So yeah, I I already covered 62 kilometers. Not so much left. only 111 border of two Ukrainian districts. It’s Louis Koblas in the one of Koblas. So right now I’m in Louis Koblas, but like about 200 m in front of me, you can see a sign that will be telling us that we are entering Ivano Franciska Oblast. So what I can tell it’s outstanding feeling to ride a bike especially in such a perfect weather condition. I really adore it. You can see here is a sign where is written it mean good luck or happy road something like this and I’m in Elvis Koblast and right now I’m in Ivana Franis Koblast. You can see a sign I gave Koblast. So my next step is Rohhatin. I already covered 71 kil 74 kilometers 100 kilometers left like seems like 75 km I done in in uh 3 hours 25 hours 25 km per hours is average speed everything is perfect soon I’ll be approaching I reached my next destination. This destination is city that is called Roatin. And what is interesting regarding this city that it scattered its steps in history of Ottoman Empire. Maybe you know they had some sultan that was called Suiman the great and his wife who was from these lands. But how did she manage to become a wife of Sultan? So about five or 600 years ago as you know there was Ottoman Empire and it was on race and under their influence were some Kimsky or Khan or Cremian Tatars and Crimean Tatars was doing raids on current territory of Ukraine. Poland and other countries and like they captured from here some girl and her name is and it’s the center and the monument for who I’m going to tell you next and they captured here one girl and her name was Nastaliska and we know her like Galana the wife of the great Sultan of Osman Empire Suliman and she was his wife. So yeah, so that’s interesting fact about Draatin. Like I already covered 85 kilometers, 88 left almost the middle of my journey today and my next destination. It is a city that is called Hodor. Right now they’re going to be one long but not so steep uphill. Right now I’m in village or whatever it is that is called Zuja. So I already covered the half of the road. I did it in 3 hours 30 minutes. So seems like I’ll do complete course of today in about 7 hours. So yeah, see you kilometers. Right now I’m going to do some descent. Very beautiful view. I soon I’m going to exit Vana Francis Oblast and go back to Liska Oblast again. I’m on a border right now. So like 150 m ahead of me. You can see a sign and there there’s written it mean like welcome back to W district. So let’s go there and about 6 km left uh to hot. I’m going to stop there on Oka petrol station. So yeah, you see this road is repaired. It’s perfect perfect road for riding the bike. So yes. Yahoo. I’m back. I’m back in Liska Oblast. I’m in Hadri’s car territorial uh group before patrol station. So yeah, so let’s do it. I’m approaching Hodor. Now I need to push a little bit. Garmin telling that I have potential that I just used 30% of my potential. So I have a lot of power. I’m not rushing, no push at all. Just enjoying the hour. 122 kilometers. My potential is 60% I believe. Uh yeah, average it was it was hard 133 my zone 2 not complicated right so totally I ate about seven gels I drink one Coca-Cola to latte one French hot dog and one chicken burger so and also uh I drink also I drank one and a half liter of isotonic while uh riding so Yeah.
