I need new brakes to replace the sram guide rs on my 2016 s-works enduro. I have narrowed it down to 3.
1st option; sram code rsc
This is my most wanted option because of the bite point adjustment and I like sram brakes. They are above my budget though so I would have to wait to find them second hand around $200 – $250aud and I need new brakes before i go away for christmas so I don't think I will find that good of a deal in time.

2nd option; trp trail evo
I recently noticed them on sale for only $180aud which seems like a really good deal, they have dimpled lever and tool free reach adjust (although reviews say it's not verry effective) but unfortunately no bite point adjustment. They seem like a solid option.

3rd option; magura MT trail sport
These brakes are on sale for $175aud currently which also seems like a really good deal. They have 4 piston front and 2 piston back caliper. They seem like a good option but I like power and control and I am worried the 2 piston rear caliper won't be enough, especially for wheelies and stuff. I am also sceptical of the plastic lever body, I don't want to have a little stack and then stuff it up.

I am extremely bad at deciding so any help is much appreciated!

  1. As a SRAM brake hater, out of those three I would still go for the SRAM brakes.

Find a set of used Hayes Dominion a4.
