Hi everyone.
I recently acquired a used Selle Italia SLR Boost Superflow (1st image) and I noticed it's missing the blue plastic piece that can be seen in the stock pictures (2nd and 3rd images). There are two little blue bits under the rails so it was definitely there at some point and later on it probably broke or got dislodged somehow.
Does anyone know its purpose? My guess would be some kind of damper to avoid rails creaking. I very much doubt it's structural but you never know.
