Hi everyone,
I just installed a set of Shimano R785 hood covers. One of them sits perfectly flush and aligned, but the other just won’t fit nicely no matter what I try.
The cover still has the little “buttons” on the inside, and because of that it doesn’t want to slide into place properly.
Has anyone dealt with this before or knows how to fix it?
Any tips would be really appreciated

All of those buttons have holes in the lever they need to fit into.
Massage it all around until it fits. You can squirt a bit of rubbing alcohol in there to make it slide around easier.
I don’t know the answer except to say I’ve had the same situation and in the end I just had to live with it.
