Good morning ladies and gentlemen. My name is Isaac Mfield. Welcome to my channel. Today we are in an industrial estate. Why you ask? Well, we are here to do the least few station in Harlow. Harlow Mill. There’s two stations in this uh town and uh we’re about to approach it. As you can see, this is a very industrialized area. Um, and we see, let’s have a look at what the station can show us. And apparently Harlo is a quite a newish town. I think it was built in the ‘ 70s. So, um, two stations. Harow Town is the main one. Uh, and Harow Mill itself. Can’t work out why it’s called Harville Mill. Maybe there was a Milh Hill. It was a mill house. Maybe this is a uh block of offices here. Um, looks like there’s only one platform. This is the car park of Harllo Mill, a bike rack. No bikes. Look, no bikes today. It does have a ramp which you can go down from the main road. There’s a massive station sign there. Interesting. So, it is two platforms. I think it’s staggered as well. So, let’s have a look. Onward travel information at the leisu station in Harlow. Well, it’s inside Harlow, so there’s a lot of buses and stuff, so you can get stuff from here. So, this platform you can get a London train and the other side. Oh, look, you can get you can car as well. Look at this. The next is 1034 Cambridge North. And you got fantas London Nipple Street. Is this a stack? It’s a stack of platforms. Right. This is Harlow Mill. Help point. What is that? Harel help point here. And the train times. Now the train times is once an hour on a Sunday cuz it’s very complicated this one. I’ll tell you straight away. Um tells you everything. engineering network group map. I’ll show you exactly where we are here. Right. So Harlow is in can I find it on the main line here. See that’s Harow Town. Harlow Mill is just after Harow Town in Sbridge and Bish on the way to Stans airport. Not a lot of people using the station today. And if we go to this map, this is the main one, the one that we like to look at all the time. Here we go. Harlo Mill is just after Harow Town. This one is a staggered platform straight away. Now the obvious question is where is the mill in Harlow Mill? That’s a good question. It’s obviously named after a mill. And was it was the mill to do with flower? Maybe. Who knows? Ah, there’s a footprint here. Oh, look. There’s even an Amazon hub here as well. That’s quite nice. And apparently is River Stalk is not far from here as well. Can we go this way? This is interesting. What’s down here? This is just a normal walk. Or can you go to the other platform over this walk? Cuz there is a bridge. This is interesting. And you could have gone up that ramp, but it looks like you can go this way or you have to go over the bridge from the platform here. Oh, this will take us back to the road. Anyway, looks like we have to go back onto the platform to go on the bridge. So, let’s have a look at the other platform here. Ah, the wonders and sights of Harlo. Very good. A shortcut of Harow. Lovely. The river Stor is up there apparently. They will look for that in a minute. But the bridge is what you want. There’s actual passengers turned up at the Eastu station. Yep. Helping certainly out there people. Okay. So I I do want to see the river stalk as well. It is signposted. Looks like the bridge is here. It’s a staggered platform. It’s a staggered platform as well. Very interesting. So on a normal day, on a normal weekday, it’s one train now to the full street, one train now to Stratford, one train now to Bishop Stford, and one train now to Cambridge North. Um on Sundays, the trains to Statford and Bishop Hall do not run. Now, whilst we’re crossing the bridge, last year this station, look at this bridge. You can’t see over it. or just about. And that’s terrible. Look, can’t see past that one. Got a re. This is interesting. There’s another exit here as well. And this is platform 2. Last year, this station saw 240,766 passengers a year, 661 a day. Now, compared to Harow Town, they saw over a million passengers. That’s a big throat difference in passengers for Harlow itself. Now my guess is people only use the station for um if you work here and this platform is nothing here. Absolutely nothing. Derelict. This is a 1034 next one to Cambridge North. Right. Let’s go and see where the rail river is. He’s signposted. This platform is nothing. Right, let’s find the rivers to walk. Oh, nice. It’s a Stanford Express going to Stanford airport. A trick to get a train in this shot is just to turn the camera slowly and you get it in the shot. Back over the bridge. This station does not have um actually it does if you want to go. Yeah, it does have um facilities for wheelchairs. That’s the main road above the station. This is very industrial as you can hear. Also, the electricity and the wires as well. You can hear that. It’s very quiet. Maybe comes here on a Sunday anyway. Maybe people bring music to work. Right. The river Stor is up here apparently. Let’s go and find it. Uh the river Stor is named well the town Bishop Storzford is named after River Stor. So Storzford there’s a Ford when the river approaches the road it becomes a Ford. So I’m guessing that’s why it’s called Bishop Storford because it’s on the river Stor. This is Harlow Mill itself. Where is with us? Right here. This is the main road somewhere down here. There are buses down here, but I’m not going to too far. Right. A passing shot of a Stanley Express train going to London. And I know you’re not. Next week I’ll do one more video. Probably a busy station. Not so sure yet because the trains are really not running properly on a Sunday. The station I wanted to do today was just London overground. uh completely messes up today. Um so and then I’m going to after that I’m going to have a two week break because the new statistics will come out on the 5th of December. Sorry, the 3rd of December. So we’re going to start after next week. We’re going to start the we’re going to start the uh the next um lot in December from the statistics from this coming from the from last year. Right. Hope you enjoyed today’s video of Harow Mill, the very industrialized side of Harlow. Uh, please like and please subscribe. Join me next week somewhere else.
