Shorter cranks?

I'm building a new bike and I wanna get some shorter cranks on it. I'm currently running 170s on my old bike because I couldn't find anything shorter at the time. Hopefully they will also help a bit with nagging knees on long trips. Some good info here:

I was looking at Hope evo 155mm and they look good but rather pricey compared to just XT cranks. Still, I'm willing to try it. I'd have preferred 160s but they don't make those.

Any alternatives in Europe that come in 160 and aren't too pricey? I guess trying 155s will be interesting in its own right. I'm 173cm with 80cm inseam (5'7 and 31" inseam).

This should also help with pedal and tire clearance and keeping my cadence higher.
