My mechanic noticed that top tube was cracked during the head tube service. (which was its own can of worms, but is fixed now).
Bike just over 2 years old. I've treated it well, no accidents, falls, … I never sat on the top tube.
I really like the bike, it's super fast and responsive, but I've had lots of issues with it:
– Rotor cranks had to be replaced last year as the left one became loose and not amount of torque would fix it. I've ordered replacements from Rotor and Canyon was kind enough to reimburse me.
– Head tube developed rust (I sweat a lot and I guess the sweat got into the tube) and I rounded the screw when trying to service it. Ordered a replacement screw and spacers from Canyon.
How screwed am I? I've submitted a claim and I'm hopping for the best.
