i just bought one. utter junk. room got hotter the exhaust was heating the room like hell. it was running out the window btw
Using my mobile ac a few jears now with solar power 😊 Runs still like a champ
Pls tell us about best RO water purifier
Lol split ac often needs washing, and gas leaking issues🥲.u have to call upon a expert for any work on that. Some have water leaking and outdoor fan issue.. Portable ones are cinvinent and the future of ac
1 reason high bill
“Went” 😅
Agreed 💯👍
what is your knowledge about the use of air coolers??
I'm using portable AC units for a decade already, they are flawless, the one I have now is consuming about 850W at 9000BTU and is placed so I barely hear its 50 decibels.
Most convenient thing is that once they broke you can replace it in no time, exactly as for washing machine or the fridge
Garbage content
Contradiction or what 😂
They are good she don’t know I’ve had mine long time and i love it
Facts. Unfortunately, two are running in my house right now. I wouldn't mind a redo on that decision haa
These aren't regular ACs they are designed for grow tents if you want one for your home look elsewhere but if you have one then its probably the best option but not cheap
Not true cut whole in attack and vent heat out that way. They also sell extension hoses up to any length. You clearly have no experience using these. They have comparable units that use the same power as any other unit. And having the ability to drain the water out you can clean them using the same port. Which you cant do on regular units that scum up. This has to be a fake AI video
It's definitely worth it if a split airco isn't possible and normal fans don't cool enough. Like here in the Netherlands for example. Not sure about new houses, but the older ones, including appartments, were build with keeping heat inside in mind.
Downsides the Mini Splits too, installation can be very expensive, you may need to hire an electrician, they still need cleaning. If you install one and the placement isn't good or it doesn't suit your needs too late, the installation is done, a window or portable AC can be swapped out with a different unit or a different location
Downsides the central air, most HVAC companies are either expensive incompetent or dishonest. Many components that need to be kept clean, ducting is impossibly complicated it must be adjusted differently for summer and winter
From a physics standpoint a portable AC is very inefficient
since it basically sucks in the air from inside the house and removes the hot air from the exhaust which not only takes the cold air out but also creates a pressure differential hence recirculation higher pressure hot air back in the room
what do you mean that beats the purpose of portability? The whole point is you can easily remove it and change it to a different window/location, unlike other styles.
Indians always pronounce the letter “v” wrong.
Try telling that to me in the UK, with 35 degree heat. In a house that is purpose built to hold heat.
So portables suck but let me sell you this one so I can get a commission 👎
You clearly don't understand the point of having one of these. They are fantastic.
Maybe there are good ones in other countries, with the drainage sorted? The major problem would be that they need a window nearby.
“Don’t get a portable ac, get MY portable ac” 😂
The Went next to the Vindow 😂😂
This is wrong info. I've been using portable ac's for 5 years now. Thank God for them! I use two in my place, one upstairs at night and one downstairs during the day. My power bill went up a few dollars only and by that I mean not even $5.00. They come with a hard plastic drain hose that is easy to attach to the back and you need a bucket and drain that every so often. I live in a small A Frame cottage rental with no storage space for a typical window ac unit that I can't lift anyway because I'm not supposed to be lifting over 10 lbs. due to past hernia surgeries. These portables easily wheel into a corner for winter. No lifting. The accordion hose, the plastic window sliders and plastic drain hose all store easily in the bucket that I place behind the unit itself.
I had one- I was rubbish- way too noisy. Sold it in the end. Split type is so much quieter
Some people have to get them.
I wrapped the exhaust tube in i sulatoon raised it up and drilled a whole to put the water hose n out simple and easy live mine I also use the hose to water my flowers outside the windownusing a drop system it took me an hr before.
Delete this garbage video
I've always contemplated buying one of these.
I live in a rented place and can't drill holes in walls.
You didn't even talk about the worst part. They create negative pressure in the house and are about half as efficient as a window unit.
You didn't even mention the biggest problem. That single duct unit constantly pulls outside air into the space you're trying to cool.
Portables should be a last resort and if you have to use one, try to use a dual hose version or rig up a second hose to the second intake if you can. Worst case, single hose ones do work fine, they're just more expensive to operate than a dual hose and far more to operate than a window unit/mini split.
What ?
LOL
So whats your solution for tenants that need airconditioning?
You do not have to drain a portable a.c! Ive had mine on for a couple summers. Only the dehumidifier option is the one that accumulates water.
Chal haat mere paisa jo main kare kharidu
Just buy a longer exhaust hose and drain hose…
Sound is a big one, I had one 10yrs ago was like a goddam Turbo in my living idw they are like today but I doubt that much quieter.
Can run drain hose, extend ducting and wear earplugs, we can all max out the power grid together
I knew something was coming when I heard that accent 😅😂
Haha
What a surprise that these are all the negatives. Only an absolute total moron would think otherwise. These portable aircons with the window vent kits, server specific purpose for a specific type of customer. That's what you should be saying.
Not just spelling out all the negatives.
