hello! i’ve had my state allroad 4130 v2 for about half a year now and i’m looking to upgrade my drivetrain. this 12 speed 11-50 cassette state one is ok but i want something a little more crisp and accurate. i prefer shimano style shifters so i was thinking of going with this mullet style set up on the bikepacking.com website.
SHIFT LEVERS: SHIMANO 105 STI LEVERS
DERAILLEUR: SHIMANO GRX 11-SPEED RD-RX812
CASSETTE: SUNRACE CSMX80 11-50T
MOD: WOLF TOOTH GOAT LINK
aside from those parts i think i’ll also need an 11 speed chain and new cables. im trying not to change my brakes or front chainring rn.
is this a reasonable upgrade or are there better options? should i just go electronic to avoid derailleur mods?
