Cannondale R700 vs Poseidon Triton

Cannondale is $500, Triton is $400

Looking for a budget-friendly entry level road bike that I can use for casual rides and occasional commuting. Don’t plan on putting any serious miles on it just yet, but am interested in getting into more serious training for races/triathlons in the future.
