  1. Listed on FB marketplace for $200, but it’s been up for a while so I could probably talk them down. Looks very clean.

This looks old enough to have French dimensions in the headset and bottom bracket (adds challenge when it’s time to replace worn bits in those areas). Likewise with finding replacement cotters for those old cottered cranks. If this has the original steel rims, slowing and stopping in the wet will be a challenge. If it has the black plastic Simplex derailleurs, they easily could break soon.

But mixtes are fun and practical, and these have a nice ride quality even though the tubing is not exotic.

  3. this is a pretty low end Peugeot, but still beautiful. id offer $100 max and wouldnt feel bad walking away if they said no.

I saw one post where the double crossbars made a perfect holder for six beers and a coffee mug.

We inherited a mixte from my wife’s mom. You don’t want that toe overlap! (Did I convince you?? 🙂

  6. I see a cool frame with lots of potential… provided you have a parts bin or a decent local bike co op for cheap parts.
