Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Pinterest Bluesky Threads Hello Brompton community! This part did fall from my recent C-line. It's made of black plastic, I can feel that here was some glue on the concave surface. Would anyone know what it is, and how it fix it? Deviantdefective on November 26, 2025 8:24 pm It’s the chain guide goes on the seat tube against the chainring, they’re always falling off nothing to worry about.
ride_whenever on November 26, 2025 8:31 pm Buy a roll of 3M VHB tape and primer 94. The primer can be bought in single use ampoule applicators, which is more than sufficient for this task. Clean the back of this guide and the frame, then apply primer 94 to both, wait for it to dry completely then stick the tape on. Clamp overnight for the best bond (it’s pressures activated) It’s super handy stuff to have around, used for all sorts of things
