I’m Martin Mayor. I come from France and I’m studying mechanical engineering at Napio University for one semester. I like cycling. I like adventure. I like bypacking. And when I knew uh the both university approved my semester in Denver, the idea of coming by bike just come in my head very quickly. So I start from my hometown in the French Alps at the south and I ride 2,000 kilometer to Inbor. I just planned uh the route and I see it was 2,000 km and I just said, “Okay, let’s do it.” 2,000 km in 12 days. It was a lot. Uh it was 150 km average every day. So very long. And in the UK, uh I had a lot of rain, but it was really cool. All on on my bike, the tent, sleeping bag, the mattress, uh my food. So, I was alone and I can sleep everywhere. I really like the city. It’s my first time here in Scotland. Uh, it’s really windy, but today we have the sand and it’s really cool. And yeah, the city is an historical city and the castle, all the church, it’s really beautiful. And the pentland just next to a lot of international student uh in the accommodation. It’s natural accommodation. There a lot of German, Italian people and it’s really cool to meet other people, other students and also Scottish students. Stop thinking and just take your bike, go cycling, and it’s going to be a great adventure.
