I'm about to buy a new bike. After owning a Enduace CF SL Di2 Aero for 6 years, I recently got a good offer and sold it, as I had to stay a long period without being able to ride. The thing is now I'm willing to come back and have come across this Endurace CFR Di2 on sale: https://www.canyon.com/es-es/outlet-bicicletas/carretera/endurace-cfr-di2/3713.html?dwvar_3713_pv_rahmenfarbe=R072_P02&dwvar_3713_pv_rahmengroesse=XL

Do you think it is a good deal?

The main drawbacks are: Dura-Ace powermeter – I read everywhere it is rubbish. Geometry – Although in general I was delighted with my previous Endurace, I always thought I could use a racier geometry and finally, the top tube LOAD system, which I'm worried may rattle or get messy.

What are your thoughts?

  1. The CF SLX 8 DI2 (Ultegra) costs 4400€, I don’t see why you’d want to upgrade to Dura Ace (200g saved) and CFR frame for an extra 2600€.
If you want a more aggressive frame, get the Aeroad. But I’d also go for 105 / Ultegra level — wheels are far more important than a minimal weight saving of the group.
