I bought this frame used in Seattle in the 90s. I moved as many parts as possible from a 1990 Trek 990 mtb and used this a my commuter / ferry mule for many years. Now she’s getting a refresh. Going to change the handlebars, 1×7 drivetrain and a few other things that have been neglected

Surprised they made these in this size. Also, why do I have some random number of 6,000 in my head for the number of 720 touring frames trek made in the 80s? It’s just something that’s sitting there in my head and I have no idea how accurate or not this is.
There was one in my size I almost picked up on Craigslist like 8 years ago but I already had a miyata 1000 so I didn’t see the point.
Nice! I have one of those in my basement I need to build. Mines a 61 I believe though.
