I was doing some maintenance when I've discovered this.
It seems that the headset (EC44) cut into the paint, and the bearing slightly scoured the steerer. Some paint seems to have been chipped away too.
The headset never felt loose, so it might have been some sort of impact? This is a gravel bike, and it has been ridden hard (but no more than 2000 km)
Most importantly, can this be repaired or is the fork toast?

Doesn’t look like anything significant imho. This section is quite beefy anyways and your fork will likely crack anywhere else than there.
