Super high cool factor. I would not invest a lot of money but still worth a restoration

It is very cool and could be a labor of love for someone. But in that condition it is worth very little.

Would make for a great restoration project, it’s also very cool

I love restoring old bicycles from this era, so much fun. But this isn’t a project I’d take on. The rust is likely too far past the patenia stage, it doesnt boad well for the condition of the working parts.
Though I’d put my address numbers (or plazma cut them out) on the placard in the frame, turn the racks into planters and make it a yard ornament in a heartbeat. Could possibly sell it that way, too, but I’ve got no idea how much it’d go for.

These are cool but probably require a complete disassembly and chemical rust removal. And that’s besides any issues like destroyed bearings or stuck seatposts.
If I came across this in the wild I’d probably offer something like €25-50 at most and the promise to turn it into something rideable again.
But I have a habit of overspending on bikes and I’ve definitely taken on some lost causes over the years.

Whilst it’s very cool I’d pay no more than 25 bucks in that condition.

It would have perhaps been worth £95, if the vendor hadn’t treated it like shit.
The whole issue with ‘vintage’ anything is dabblers making an arse of everything they touch, and they’ve made an absolute arse of ‘storing’ that bike.

Thanks to everyone that has suggested prices or uses etc, I think I’m not going to buy it unless it still for sale in next few months if I do buy I’ll pay 25-50 for it then full nut and bolt restore it.

Was it in a river?
Check out some of the before and afters with oxalic acid shown [here] (https://thecabe.com/forum/threads/oxalic-acid-bath-before-and-afters.64373/). I’d give it a shot.
