Finally got the build out together. Brake lines aren’t connected as I am getting fit on it next week so rather than route them and then have to redo it, waiting until the fit to cut the steerer tube to appropriate length and route everything.
One thing I should have seen but did not is that the GS1 only takes saddles with 7mm rails. It necessitated a saddle change (switching from carbon 3d selle italia to the 3d with titanium rails). The pic just has a Specialized power saddle I had lying around to test fit the saddle height. I went with the road bars as I prefer less flare on my bars. Group set is Force xplr 13spd. Wheels are reserve 40/44 GRs. Tires are pathfinders in 45mm that measure pretty much dead on. I have some g-one rs’ waiting after trialing these out.

I think Ventum makes a perfectly acceptable bicycle.
This bike rips. I have two GS1s. Love them.
