The name of the place. [Music] All right, I’m trying this, which is CocaCola and Fanta together. Interesting. This This is unique. Certainly will keep me awake. Look at this German feast. Pork knuckle and two different kinds of dumplings. I’m going to start off with one of the dumplings. It’s a I don’t know. It’s the lighter colored one. Look at this. It’s dense, very starchy, not a lot of flavor. Very very simple. It’s lightly warm. Not crispy on the outside, just sort of mushy the whole way through. Now I’m going to try the other dumpling. Little yellowower in color. Has a little browning on the outside. This one’s straight potato. It’s like a lovely mashed potatoes baldled together with a little crispiness on the outside. Absolutely delicious. The pork knuckle. Here we go. Very crunchy on the outside. On one side, it is. I’m going to go and get just get a piece here. There’s a nice I think beer gravy. I’m dipping it in the beer gravy. Trying a small piece. M. Oh my. Has a consistency like a very tender roast beef. Lovely. Very flavorful. Trying the crispy skin. I don’t know if you can hear the crunch. Oh yeah. Nice crunch on it. Going to dip it in the gravy. The skin is so good. Of course. Fatty, crunchy, tasty, lovely. a feast for a cool day. You come and eat this, you’re incredibly satisfied and ready for tomorrow. I love it. I just did a very rude thing in Germany. I forgot to talk about the sauerkraut. Okay, so we’re going to take a little sauerkraut. It’s drenched in the gravy as well. Wow. The sauerkraut and gravy could be its own delicious soup. It’s a little sour, obviously sauerkraut, but it’s delicious. It’s cabbage pickled. It’s sour. This was a mushy one. Not too crunchy. Little crunchy, delicious. You get all these different textures and flavors, temperatures. Wonderful meal. Okay, we’re going to try to say it now. fine hacks port novels.

Nice short. One detail. sauerkraut is fermented and not pickled. Pickling is when you add acid to store foodstuff for longer periods. With fermentation the acid is formed by bacteria from the sugars in the foodstuff itself over time.
