Hi all,
got myself my first Brompton Last week and I love it. I noticed little vibrations in front braking. The rim is maybe not perfectly true but i think the vibrations come from quite a noticeable gap on the rim joint. The back rim is super smooth and no vibrations noticeable under braking.
Is this bump on the front wheel acceptable?

I’m not an expert by any stretch of the imagination, but this looks like it’s going to tear the brakes apart.
I’ve had smaller imperfections on my wheel (looked like I grinded it somewhere) where the repair shop told me that this has to be replaced immediately.
omg never seen it that bad !!! not acceptable you must feel it braking !!
looks like 💩 QC
Absolutely not. I wouldn’t ride that.
Send it!!
… back to Brompton
Ok, don’t use the bike untill you get a new rim and I mean this.
Go to the online chat with Brompton or your dealer, no excuses for that!!!!!
Deathtrap , return IMMEDIATELY
if its new, it would still be under warranty. i would take it back.
DO NOT RIDE THAT BIKE
Take it back, it’s not safe to ride and it’s absolutely shocking that it got through QA
Do not ride that take it back immediately that’s a failed joint needs swapping out.
Brake blocks wouldn’t last a day.
