do you know why these spoke wrenches are different this is your standard spoke wrench and the spoke wrench is only three-sided the traditional three-sided spoke wrench slides right onto the spoke nipple from the side this spoke wrench looks like it but it’s actually foursided the four-sided one doesn’t go on the side you have to slide it over the top of the spoke nipple the four-sided spoke wrench gives you a tighter tolerance and allows you to torque them down more

The more you know…
Taught me something new, have a like
Don’t even know you bout that crazy huh😂
4 sided ! Would be a solid square., I'm lost. Although I have built wheel's.
This tool seems like a horrible design. Why would someone not use a traditional style wrench at a 90 degree angle?
im starting to realise why sometimes it's hard as shit to get the tool on lol
They both tighten down the same about on just had better grip
As a kid i would cut the handle off of a fork and use the fork part to tighten spokes, worked just fine!
And they also come in different sizes
2 sides is fine, don't believe the hype
im the newest comment rn happy new year
4 sided ones are sooo much better
MAKE SURE THE WRENCH IS OF PROPER SIZE . BOTH WORK FINE BUT IF WRONG SIZE THEN IT WILL STRIP AND WARP ALL OF THEM IN TIME .
Take a drink each time he says spoke
Technically 5 lol
And one works way better with 48 spoke wheels.
I've spoke nipples before 😊😊
So I took off my spokes on my 20in rims to clean them and now there loose do I need this to tighten my spokes again?
