Hey, [ __ ] 45 here. Can we trust a semi-automatic shotgun completely? Well, let’s try a pump first. You want Look at that. Get him on the run. We feel like a pump is pretty uh 100% reliable most of the time, don’t we? 100% most of the time. Does that make sense? But the question is uh about a semi-auto man. Uh the thing just works. It just works. And for me, I have actually switched over in terms of my primary defensive shotgun. And the shotgun does play a role for me. Some people have gone to carbines and that kind of thing, but not I. I’m a I’m a 12 gauge

I'm semi auto only.
Unlike Bethesda games, a semi-auto does indeed just work.
All firearms are mechanisms of one kind or another. Up-keep your maintenance and enjoy relatively trouble free service.
I think the best reason for the "pump" is to pump fear. The sound of clambering that first round is unmistakable.
That’s nice. Now step up to a full auto AA12 shotgun with a 32 round drum clip.
Nothing says "Get out of my house!" better than a shotgun!
Only problem is loss of hearing after a self defense incident
12 gauge man myself, just got a retrograde 590 with the walnut stock and pump and I love it. Saving for a benelli m4 now
Pump-action is reliable only when you fully 'pump' it to make perfect ejection and loading.
12 guage is still king
Semi-auto shotguns will sometimes not cycle light loads or mini cartridges…or so I've been told. I've only used hunting loads in my Remington 1100 and never had a problem.
As long as you keep them clean any shotgun will work regardless of brand.
Like my pump. But in love with my A300.
Benelli M3, semiauto & pump
I pump action is 100% reliable….. Unless you short stroke it, which could possibly happen in the heat of battle or what have you
Anyone using a carbine for home defense has tiny balls and a tiny brain. Don’t kill your neighbors please.
I love the role playing here. If the zombies attack shotgun is my go to defense to stop home invasion of fatiguers….
Fuck it 12 gauge slug in the home defense shotgun
Not I ! Said the wise man 😂
Try a bullpop, 3"high brass semi auto 12 gauge with a 10 rnd mag. If you get a chance.
Plus, it should be common knowledge that a firearm intended for defensive use need be loaded all the time, with 1 in the chamber. When you need to defend yourself, chambering it is gonna be the last thing on your mind, and could mean precious seconds that cost you your life.
Plus, it's noisy. You don't wanna tell your intruder that you're armed, and give away your location.
AGREED BERETTA 1301 TACTICAL
Im buy me a Mossberg, auto 12g, next month…Maybe, two❤❤
I love the 590. It'll never let you down. But I just put a Beretta a300 through the ringer and it kicked ass. Ran very smooth with no issues.
Would love to see some modern shotguns that look more like rifles. They all have that weird banana-grip aesthetic. Bananas are yuck, so shotguns look pretty disgusting, though I appreciate their efficacy. Fuck bananas though. Yuck.
I had a Remington 870 in 12 Guage, rust bucket truck duck gun. Easily 30k rounds through it with bird and clay. It looked like it was dropped in saltwater for decade, but it would run all day long.
When in need, rely on the 12 gauge pump shotgun, cause 60 percent of the time, it works 100 percent of the time! 😏
Shotgun (pump) is my choice too
I like pumps. You can feed almost anything through them. I wouldn't mind another .22 pump that I could cycle .22 shorts through!
🇺🇲⚖️🇺🇲
I'm with you, H45. My Ithaca 37 is a good/close frd……
GREAT CHANNEL ❤️
Here in Austria (that's where I live) the government made this decision for us. A couple of years ago there was a guy who robbed three banks with a shotgun. So our incredibly wise government came to the conclusion that shotguns are bad and dangerous and they were forbidden. So we all switched to semi-auto … 🤣🤣🤣 Hillarious, right?!
He looks like he's having a blast at it, too. Well, several blasts. Lucky him.
The semi is nice to but just costs more
Agreed…
Yes l am also a 12ga man 👨, but l know a old guy 👴 in Ohio that can't handle a 12ga, so he went with a 20ga O/U , a two popper.
I have a CZ1012 that I and more experienced shooters have had it go full auto, had it fire when dropping the bolt with the safety on, and have had it jammed a million times. I'm not going near it or another semiautomatic again. Pump or break barrel will do the job
Shotguns should NEVER be taken away from Law enforcement officers ! The TV show “Fear thy Neighbor” Season 1-Episode-1 will let you understand why 🚨
I wouldn't like to be a bear or any other wild animal, walking in the woods and penetrate without knowing it on the property of Hickok !
These last 7 shots were been fired faster than i shoot 2 bullets with my revolver.
Love it. Always making an excuse to shoot something.
100% vs 99.9999%
For close quarter combat Home Defense you can't beat a tactical 12 gauge
When I lived in Alaska and Bear country, everybody carried semi auto shotguns. They just worked. It was simple. He just pulled the trigger. No shucking. No jiving
But isnt it the klick-klack sound that bears the stromgest protection?
I carried an issued Benelli M4 for a several years as a police officer mainly in special operations and liked it quite well after carrying Remington and Mossberg pumps for over 20 years. All are great shotguns. My #1 for any situation- Mossberg 500 line. That said the other two, and now their descendants, are all amazing weapons. The power of a 12ga round is incredible.
Is there a full auto?
Love the semi action
Short stroking a pump is more common than a good automatic jamming
My first firearm was a 20ga Mossberg, 1968, 11yrs old, $62 dollars. Still working fine.
