🟥 NIT International — Ukraine War Update | Detailed Report on all developments in the Pokrovsk front in the Russia-Ukraine war.
Summary of This News
Ukraine’s defense forces have stopped a major Russian offensive in Pokrovsk, halting 55 attacks in a single day and exposing a serious breakdown in Russia’s battlefield strategy. Despite thousands of artillery rounds, drone strikes, and guided bombs across multiple fronts, Russian units failed to advance. The latest frontline reports show Ukraine holding firm in the Russia – Ukraine war, maintaining morale and countering Moscow’s “winter offensive” narrative with effective defensive and precision strike operations.
Key Developments Covered in This Video:
– Ukrainian forces repel 55 Russian assaults in the Pokrovsk sector.
– High-intensity clashes across Donetsk, Lyman, Sloviansk, Kostyantynivka, and Vovchansk.
– Russia launches thousands of artillery, rocket, and kamikaze drone strikes with no territorial gains.
– Ukrainian precision strikes hit Russian troop concentrations, weakening morale.
– Reports highlight growing pressure on Russia’s manpower, logistics, and combat planning.
– The frontline balance shifts as Ukraine maintains defensive cohesion against multi-directional attacks.
🔎 This Report Examines:
This update analyzes the latest frontline situation in the Russia–Ukraine war, focusing on Ukraine’s successful defense in Pokrovsk, Russia’s failed offensive operations, artillery and drone activity, shifting morale on both sides, and the broader implications for winter fighting dynamics.
Strategic Analysis:
The failed Russian assault wave around Pokrovsk marks a key moment in the current phase of the Russia–Ukraine war. Moscow attempted to break Ukrainian lines with massed infantry pushes supported by heavy artillery, guided bombs, and kamikaze drones, but the tactic produced no breakthroughs. Ukraine’s ability to repel 55 attacks in one day demonstrates improved coordination, stronger defensive fortifications, and faster battlefield adaptation.
Across Donetsk and Lyman, Russia’s multi-axis pressure strategy shows diminishing returns. Ukrainian units continue to stabilize the front, while Russian forces face mounting losses, reduced morale, and weakening logistics. The momentum on the battlefield is shifting toward Ukraine, not through territorial advances, but through sustained defensive resilience that disrupts Russia’s offensive cycle and erodes its operational capacity.

[Music] Ukraine’s resistance stopped Russia’s heavy assaults with Pocrs shifting momentum and securing morale superiority. The news we will discuss today is extremely important for understanding the course of the military struggle on the ground because the resistance shown by the Ukrainian army in the last 24 hours has once again overturned the attack plans that Russia spent months preparing. This is not an ordinary defensive success. This is a major turning point showing that all the plans the Kremlin marketed as a winter advance have collapsed. And what is the center of this rupture? Pocross. Yes, the region where the clashes are the most intense and the sharpest. In the Prosovk sector, Ukrainian soldiers managed to stop 55 Russian attacks back to back. The meaning of this is clear. This is not just a trench defense. This is proof that all of Russia’s plans remained merely on paper. Now, let’s take a breath and think about this number again. You launch 55 attacks on a single area in a single day, and not one of those attacks succeeds. This is from a military perspective a fiasco. Especially when you consider the monthsl long propaganda coming from the Kremlin claiming, “We are advancing. We are increasing pressure. Ukraine is collapsing.” This picture becomes even more striking. But the reality is very different from the story the Kremlin is trying to tell. The truth is being written on the battlefield. And in the lines written on the battlefield, you see this. The Ukrainian army is still standing and still resilient. In fact, it’s not just Pocrsk. The situation is the same along the entire front. You look at the reports from the Ukrainian general staff. On November 19th alone, Ukrainian Defense Forces engaged in 200 separate clashes. One day, 200 contacts. This level of intensity has one clear meaning. Russia is openly trying to create major pressure, break through Ukraine’s defensive lines, and establish new areas of advantage for itself. But even though the plans look nice on paper, everything is different on the ground. The Ukrainian army is not retreating. The Ukrainian army is not abandoning its positions. Russian units attack, attack, attack, but the result is always the same. They are pushed back. Now, let’s look at what Russia is doing. The number of air strikes is shockingly high. More than 50 missiles are launched in a single day. Then 57 air strikes follow. 124 guided bombs and thousands of artillery and rocket attacks that almost defy comprehension. So much so that 4,442 artillery and rocket attacks are recorded. On top of that, 3,885 kamicazi drones. According to the Kremlin’s logic, if you fire this much, Ukraine’s defense collapses. But it doesn’t. And clearly, this is frustrating the Kremlin because Russia’s heavy bombardment tactic is now ineffective. Ukraine has known this attack model for 2 years. Its defensive lines are stronger, its targeting systems are faster, its units more experienced. So what does Russia do? It repeats the same tactic, as if increasing the number of attacks would somehow lead to faster progress. But the result on the ground is always the same. Disappointment. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian army acts more carefully and more intelligently. Especially the air force, in response to Russia’s intense assault, conducts pinpoint operations on critical locations. By striking positions where Russian soldiers are gathered, Ukraine achieves results that lower Russia’s morale and motivation. This is not just stopping an attack. This is weakening the opponent’s ability to plan. You don’t defeat an army only with bullets. If you break its morale, disrupt its plans, damage its chain of command, that army will begin to stumble. And today, this is exactly what is happening to the Russian army. Now, let’s look at different points on the front. Slojanschina, Vchansk, Lyman, Slovansk, Katossk, Costantina. Everywhere the picture is the same. Russian units want to widen their flanks, but at the end of every attack, the same sentence appears. Ukrainian forces repel the attack. Especially the Lyman sector has become a complete nightmare for the Kremlin. Russian soldiers are trying to push a very wide line from Zelena Dolina to Alexandrifka. But every assault crashes into Ukraine’s wall. 17 separate attacks and zero results. What does this show us? that the Kremlin’s multidirectional assault tactic no longer works. Russia wants to pressure different points simultaneously in hopes of fragmenting Ukraine’s defense. But Ukrainian units are now much more coordinated. Reinforcements arrive immediately after an attack. Any gap that forms is closed at once. The collapse effect Russia has been waiting for has not come for years, and today it does not come at all. Costantinfka is even more critical here. 25 attacks are stopped. This is the key transit point of the Daetsk front. If Russia opens this area, it could encircle the region. But Ukraine has established such a defense here that Russia’s tactical plans melt away one by one. Every assault attempt is turned back by Ukraine’s counter pressure. And now let’s return to Pokovsk. 55 attacks. Yes, that number alone is newsworthy. Such an intense wave of attacks shows the scale of Russia’s force concentration in that area. It is clear that the Kremlin wanted to declare Pakovsk the showcase of the winter victory. There was a major advance planned. This plan was prepared to be fed directly into the propaganda machine, but it didn’t happen. In Prosovk, Russian units were forced to retreat with heavy losses. Ukrainian soldiers not only defended in some parts of the front. They pushed Russian units even further back with counter fire. They expanded the area under their control. Do you know what this means? Russia is not only failing, it is losing ground. In other words, instead of advancing, they are being forced to defend. The success of the Ukrainian army lies not only in technique, it lies in morale. Ukrainian soldiers are not only protecting their positions, they are protecting their will to fight. Today, morale superiority on the front belongs entirely to Ukraine. When you look at Russia’s total losses, the situation becomes even clearer. Since the beginning of the war, Russia’s personnel losses have reached 1,162,000. Yes, you heard that right, 1,162,000. This number alone explains whether a country’s military power is sustainable. It is not possible to conduct a war with such losses. No strategy can survive such losses. No army can maintain morale with such losses. Most of the world sees this, but the Kremlin still refuses to see it. Now let’s move on to the air strikes. The attacks on the dinatros and zaparisia regions are not a coincidence. Velikcom, Mikailka, Julipole, Oric, Plavi. Russia is still pushing these areas in hopes of creating a breakthrough on the southern front. But the Ukrainian air force is responding simultaneously. A pinpoint operation is carried out on a critical location where Russian soldiers are present. These operations lower the morale of Russian units even further. Saying, “We are attacking is not enough. You must be effective.” But Russia cannot demonstrate this on the ground. The success of the Ukrainian army is now not only military success, it is psychological superiority, strategic superiority, coordination superiority. Meanwhile, Russia continues repeating the same patterns. Heavy bombardment, kamicazi drones, artillery strikes. But none of these turn into results. Everyone now sees the cycle. Russia fires. Ukraine defends. Russia withdraws. Ukraine gains morale today. When the world looks at the general picture, it says Ukraine is still resisting and still winning. And indeed, they are winning. One of the biggest indicators of this is the 55 attacks in Pocrs. The fact that these 55 attacks were repelled alone shows how strong and coordinated Ukraine is. War is no longer just a battle of tanks and artillery. War is a battle of will. And in this battle of will, Ukraine weighs far heavier. Ukraine has been standing for 2 years. Russia has been crashing into the same wall for 2 years. This picture alone explains everything. Now, let’s look to the future. Will this model of resistance continue? Yes. Because Ukraine’s defense is becoming more experienced. Western support is becoming more organized. Meanwhile, Russia’s resources are dwindling. Personnel losses are rising, ammunition is decreasing, morale is collapsing. The Kremlin’s plans marketed as the big spring offensive, the winter advance, the multidirectional pressure operation, all have collapsed. The 55 attacks in Prosovk became the symbol of this collapse. We are reporting this today, but in the coming days, the number of such reports may increase because Ukraine’s defense is making the right moves at the right time in the right place. Russia, on the other hand, insists on the wrong plans. This has become the key factor determining the course of the war because the developments in Pokrosk are not just a single day’s defensive success. They are a sign of a long-term transformation. The offensive concept Russia has used across the entire front no longer works. This is not merely a lack of capability among soldiers on the ground. It shows that Moscow’s strategic mind has completely locked up. The theory Putin has relied on for years. apply pressure, Ukraine gets tired, defense collapses, is crumbling more with each passing day. Because Ukraine is not only resisting today by repelling Russian attacks, it is also blowing apart the Kremlin’s claim to psychological superiority. Russia is pushing with all its strength. But every failed attack creates new fractures in Moscow. These fractures grow in the army’s morale, in commander planning, and even in the Kremlin’s international reputation. Russia is no longer the side trying to advance. It is the side exhausting itself while trying to advance. This perception alone changes the course of war. Because war is not only about gaining territory, it is also about breaking the enemy’s morale. And whose morale is broken today? The Kremlins. When you look at Ukraine’s battlefield performance, a simple truth emerges. This army is no longer the army of 2 years ago. Experience increased, coordination increased, speed increased, targeting capabilities increased, and most importantly, willpower strengthened. This is the will that stopped 55 attacks in Prosovsk. This is the will that held positions in Lyman, Slovansk, and Costantinoka against waves of assaults. This is the will that did not step back despite thousands of Russian artillery strikes. Russia, on the other hand, no longer has the military or economic power to sustain this tempo. Russian casualties rise every day. The Russian logistical lines targeted by Ukraine are steadily weakening. Ammunition shortages on one side, lack of trained personnel on the other. The options left to Moscow are limited, and the number of effective moves is close to zero. When you look at the Kremlin’s propaganda channels today, even the energy of the talking heads has faded because no matter what they say, it has become impossible to hide the situation on the ground. The Russian people now see the truth. There is no advance. There is no success. There is no gain. There is only loss. And none of these losses weaken Ukraine. On the contrary, they strengthen Ukraine’s resolve even more. Let’s summarize. In Pocrsk, the Russian army was stopped. No progress was achieved on other fronts. Ukraine’s defense is strong. Russian units were pushed back. And as a result of this resistance, Ukraine is giving the signals of victory louder and louder. What do you think? Let’s talk in the comments.
