How much does it cost to watch a to France stage in person? On a random Wednesday night, my mate Josh messaged me asking if I wanted to go to to lose to watch stage 11. I’m now jobless. I thought, why not? We booked the train, flights, and Airbnb right there. Costed us a total of £25. Not a bad start. By the time we knew it, it was Wednesday morning, the day of the race. We cycled down to the start, costing us £2. And we went into the expo where there’s lots of stuff going on. Strawberry cars driving about throwing stuff at spectators, team buses and cars with thousands of pounds worth of bikes rolling in. It’s very cool to see and it’s free. After watching the start of the stage, we headed back into the expo to the gift shop, which was impossible to get in before the race. And here’s where the budget went out the window. Spent £234 on an Alperson jersey, Quickstep jersey cuz it looks cool to bid on because why not. Finally, a polka dot bag to carry everything in. Next up, it was to the pub where we spent £25 on food and beers and watching most of the stage on the TV before going to the finish line. Again, it’s free to watch, so we didn’t spend any money at the finish line. We just got to watch everyone fly past soak in the incredible atmosphere with us in a sprint finish and Tad come off his bike in the final stages. Crowd was going mental and we didn’t really know why cuz the commentary was in French. And that was the day over. How much did I end up spending? £466 to go watch a tour to France stage and half of that was in the uh fan store. So really just £200 to go from the UK to France to watch a full stage. I would say that is well worth

They’re mental to watch in real life. I loved it and want to get a camper in the future and follow it around properly. Glad you had a great time.
Now jobless….so lets spend some savings on non essentials 😂😂🎉
Im so lucky, I Iive a half hour from Ventoux, and 10min from stage 17 so I get to see two stages this year.
It's why the average Pro isn't rich, only the top 5-10% of riders. Can't charge fans for seats like football stadiums. Brands can only sponsor gear, small sections like Sprint/KotM points, and the finish line unlike TV's constantly showing ads surrounding the pitch.
Which you are using to watch tour de france??
I'd like to do that one day, especially being at the finishing line. But how did you get to the finishing line ?
Starlink on the ineos car, that’s coool
Guy didn't eat or drink all journey down there well done
