I've bought and old specialized tarmac and it came with 6 layers of race numbers and the route details to ride London circa 2015. How to I get the glue off? I've been using brake cleaner but would i be better with something like WD40?
I used vinegar to get the sticky from my seat post timing number. Walmart sells cleaning grade for $3 per gallon, but you could also use salad grade to save the trip.

try WD40 or ammonia (used to remove window tint adhesive from cars). Goo Gone might work, but it’s pretty pricey for the mediocre results I’ve had in the past.
You can also try soaking it with a warm rag for a while, cause it looks like there is still paper on there.
