Had a crappy tailgate pad from Amazon for when I bought my stumpy, it flopped around a ton side to side and wheel would still spin even with the strap. Returned it and looking for something else, I see the evoc one is highly reccomended and currently on sale for $80 on back country. Will a nicer one like that keep the bike upright? I have to travel a decent distance on the highway for almost every place to ride at. My other thought was getting one of those one wheel stands as pictured and putting it on the back wheel in the bed to prevent any other moment. Really like the bomber pad I saw on another post, but it’s expensive as hell and I’d need two for my girlfriend and I’s bikes. Thanks!

The pad just protects your bike and truck. I’ve never used the straps ever. Sounds like user error.
