  1. Lots of companies brand their own cranks from Andel. Very budget friendly and good quality.
Soma has some Pake cranks for sale as well and are reasonably priced.

  2. Shit I’ve never seen that. I run Stronglight cranks with a Rotor chainring and it’s been solid for the past 4 years. I have heard great things about the Alpina crankset from Dolan bikes in case you live in the UK. If you have a high budget you could look for old stock or good condition SRAM Omniums, with the right BB those are supposedly amazing.

I love square taper though and the Sugino 75’s are some of the best ever along with the DA 7600’s.

  3. Rest in peace! Geez! VisionTech USA or on the more reasonable side, Origin 8 (to me, they have good durability).

  4. Budget: Andel Deluxe or Omniums (if you can find them)

    Non-Budget: Sugino 75s, Dura-Ace, Campy Record
