Your bike indeed. Personally I’d avoid wrapping as this seems prone for mistakes and disappointment.
Perhaps you can add color to that section of your bike by choice of wheel set, decal or skin wall tires?

I wrapped my Lauf frame and fork. It’s far from perfect but I’d love to share what I learned! I did copper on a black bike.
You want a nice big heat gun with a wide tip that can heat a substantial area at once since there are so many tight curves/corners on a bike- lots of stretching to do. I had never wrapped anything and part of my fork wrap has come undone; not sure if it’s just from getting wet all the time or my poor skills. But the frame is holding up great!
