Rallarvegen is Norway’s most popular bike ride. It is regarded by many to be the most spectacular bike ride in Norway. The route follows the railway and is named after the construction workers building the railway. The total length is 82 km / 51 miles. This ride follows the most popular segment of Rallarvegen (Navvies road), which starts at the train station in the beautifully located town of Flåm. From here you move up the valley along the railway and the river. Along the way, there are many spectacular waterfalls and the scenery is simply jaw-dropping. Two-thirds into the ride, you cross a river and get to a very popular goat farm serving goat’s cheese and sausages. This is a good place to stop and enjoy the local food. If you have a good grip on your bike and strong legs, then you can continue up the notorious Myrdal turns. The Myrdal turns is a set of very steep hairpins. The average gradient of 17.4 percent is just one factor that makes this segment difficult. What is making this climb almost impossible is the surface that consists of loose gravel. So there is a reason most cyclists take the train up and ride down. As you complete the hair-pins, you continue your ride up to your final destination Myrdal train station.

Just add music:
Most cyclists would agree that the ride to Col du Tourmalet is outstanding. But with music, opinions are very mixed. So we have added no music. Instead, we recommend adding your favorite music to the ride. It is quite simple. Mute YouTube and open a browser window. Find a site that offers music (Spotify, YouTube, etc…) and pick the music you like, and enjoy the ride…

Most beautiful ride indeed! Been to Flam, it is just like being back there again, thank you BTW!
I had to stop watching, you almost hit a kid and a puppy, what the heck is wrong with you, COURTESY, look up the word, it will make you human.
Beautiful ride, thanks for making the stationary trainer so much fun.
If you don't have a E-bike you can always take the train up to Myrdal and ride back down to Flåm effortlesslsy 😉 Bikes for rent in Flåm 😃
Easily the best virtual ride I have done this year – thank you. (Would love to take that train sometime, too!)
Incredible ride. I love the Norway rides. It makes exercising fun!! Thank you, Bike the World!
Thank you for creating these!!
This is a wonderful video!
THANK YOU for not adding music!! I have to turn the sound down on other videos. I don't want to hear music, I want to hear nature.
thank you for the beautiful ride, greetings from Greece
Very nice, beautiful!
Pairs perfectly with Pink Floyd's The Division Bell. Thanks. Beautiful country!
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!! Exactly what I've been looking for. I have to 'ride' indoors in the winter, I LOVE this ride, and how it does not have music to it. I like hearing the water, the changing of gears, the wind in my ears………. I will check out your app.
Many thanks for a great video
Thank you for this beautiful ride, from Québec !
Hairpin Respect!!! 😄
I watch the way beside mointains, rivers and waterfalls free of noises and smoker motor vehicles (just only the train). Really a pleasure. Of course, one of the most beatifull pieces of Bike the World.
You should try not to breathe so loud! 😀 Kidding! Very nice scenery and well done video!
That was the absolute most beautiful ride/walk I have ever seen. It took me 2 workouts to get it done but I am over 50 and just started exercising again. The 2nd day I would incline treadmill if you were going uphill and I decline and speed my pace on down hill it was fun really. Thank you so much for this beautiful tour
Thanks for doing these they really suck you on making the ride much easier. I would almost say I'm enjoying riding on the trainer LoL. God bless
Thank you so much !! Great video
thank you very much for providing live sound instead of horrible cheesy music like every other bike video. it helps so much with the immersion. well done.
This amazing! Such beauty and splendour. That last 1/2 hour! Up until that I thought I’d love to do this myself, maybe not! If I can ask, how much did your trip for this route cost? I live in England and would need to hire a bike..Thanks, it’s a great video!
Lovely. Thank you.
I saw the website you mentione and Im definitely considering a subscription in the near future. I have trouble riding safely outside, so i'm electing to do indoor cycling at the gym, but still want to feel like i'm just cruising and exploring. Thank you!
I thought I'd spot a couple gnomes hidden in the forest?
Awesome! Fantastic ride right there! 😎❤
might be popular but I just wasted 10 minutes watching a boring ride–no doubt there are a LOT better and scenic rights
Yay sound!!
I go so much farther Thanks
I love this video ! ❤️❤️
Hey, just watched your outdoor cycling video and it was fantastic! Really loved the way you captured the essence of cycling in the beautiful outdoors. As an avid ebike user, I recently came across a new crowdfunding project called freebeat Morph 2-in-1 e-Bike that blew me away. One of the standout features is the ability to charge the bike while using it indoors, which is a game-changer! The Morph eBike's brushless 750W motor, 80Nm torque, and top speed of 20mph are truly impressive. Plus, the 80mm front suspension and puncture-resistant tires ensure a smooth ride on any terrain. Can't wait to try it out myself! Keep up the great work and keep us updated on the crowdfunding progress!
Wonderful ride , ! Amazing views! I really worked up a sweat and good heart rate ! That hill climb felt to real where most rides I watch make one feel really out of shape ! My breathing pattern was great! Keep them coming, my first one with you !
На горе к шуму воды добавился шум дыхания )
Красивые места!
