



Now that my project is mostly done i thought I'd share the final product.
I was able to fit the cranks with a spacing of ~3mm to the chainstay. It tore fine but I had an evosid mtb dub crankset lying around so I thought: why not try this instead. Needless to say it fits much better, so thanks for all your feedback on my last post.
Here are some pictures of the build. The bike has a lot of emotional value, so specs weren't all that important. It weighs roughly 11kg and rides good.
Next step will be a shorter stem and getting the ergonomics dialed in correctly. After that I'll maybe strip the paint and renew the oem stickers.
