I used to have one of these. There’s a bolt on the back that holds it in. If it’s still there make sure to remove that. My seatpost’s bolt stripped giving the saddle a constant side to side wobble. Since it’s so old and hard to find, only solution I could think of was to epoxy the top bit in permanently

Ahhh yes, it appears common for this to be stripped. I got an extra post available. No worries if it can’t adjust, I may just strip for parts and ditch the frame if it becomes too difficult.

It also appeared that they have have used the top part of the seat post to use as leverage to remove the seat with out success.
