Got an Alfine 11 hub with Gates CDX belt drive but cant get it to shift right. New inner cable. New Alfine 11 shifter. Adjusted it in gear 6. But every time one gear skips. Bike has ben used a lot. Whole drivetrain has been replaced so that gives you an idea of the milage.
It might be the cassette joint. The part where the cable lies in. Does this wear? Since its made of plastic and the bike has been used a lot. Or might something else be the problem? Hope its not the hub thats causing the problems…..

You can buy it as a separate part so it might be worth trying.
I’d give the whole thing a clean first.

How often do you maintain the Alfine 11 hub? I have got a Nexus 8 myself with belt drive. I maintain the hub around every 1000-2000 km. But Alfine 11 is different to other Shimano IGH:s since you don’t have to open the hub.
