The owner of a bike store that went out of business several years ago had a warehouse sale last weekend. I was able to get a new lampridae seat post and suntour freewheel with cog size as appropriate for my 600 deraileur. The prize may have been a NOS set of ESGE pinstripe fenders. To get them to fit on my rear, I did have to split them and create a pair of reach around fender brackets out of aluminum, but I’m pretty happy with how they turned out. I totally understand why I have heard that bike shops hate fender mounting now.
