Some background info, I have a pair of RX eyeglasses and wayfarers. But, for daily life/work I don't use my eyeglasses. I only put them on when I need to see far during class, or maybe driving at night. The rx sunglasses I currently use for everything when its bright out, cycling, running, driving, or hiking, so I'm looking to get a pair of dedicated cycling/running sunglasses.
Are these worth the discount? VSP does not cover shield type lens so any Sutros are out of network. My out-of-network benefits get me $120 off so its around $350.
I'm also debating 2 more alternatives:
– get daily contacts w/ non-rx cycling sunglasses
-prescription bifocal sunglasses like the Oakley Flak 2.0 XL or Bisphaera. These should be covered by VSP, with benefits I'd guess cost to me would be $100ish, maybe $150.
Thanks in advance for the help! I plan on getting something soon to utilize Black Friday.

Zenni and Tifosi have inexpensive* prescription cycling glasses.
*inexpensive compared to most brands.
I get prescription sunglasses from eye buy direct. They’re not cycling specific but work well enough for me…
I use daily contacts with non-prescription sunglasses and have had no issues! I like the freedom of ordering whatever sunglasses I like and being able to keep them even as my prescription changes
What web site is this? I just ordered a pair from sport rx , got the flak 2.0 xl dock bc im blind af
I have the “Zunnies – Wrap-Around Visor Sunglasses” from Zenni. They are relatively cheap and don’t have prescription inserts while still being wrap around. Only downside is they don’t have branding you can flex.
Check Eyeconic for oakleys.
I was looking at oakleys for a bit but I decided to go for the Nike Flyfree sunglasses. I bought the glasses online then took them to my optician to get insured lens. Might be a good option!
