For anyone who rode the TransAm during her time, June Curry was a fixture of the experience. I found a bunch of old photos and thought I'd post them here.
Our Adventure Cycling maps had her number listed and we simply called her to let her know roughly when we would arrive and she met us with cookies. I imagine many people here have similar stories.
June passed in 2012 and it is estimated she was visited by over 14,000 cyclists over the years.
