Got myself a set of EliteWheels Marvel G35s and a set of Pirelli Cinturato Gravel M in 45C and put some miles on them with a 52 mile ride from the Croton Reservoir in New York down the Old Croton Aqueduct trail to NYC. About half of it was gravel, 40% was paved greenway, and 10% was the absolute shitshow that is safely navigating fast moving traffic through the south Bronx 😅

The places on the route are truly amazing 🧿🧿
Paging /r/bicyclingcirclejerk. New source material has arrived.
Go over the GW and then back over to Westchester onto the Tappan Zee/Cuomo Bridge to avoid the South Bronx. Or go all the way up to the Bear Mountain bridge. That or jump on MetroNorth until you get past the Bronx.
I have a similar picture taken almost in the same spot
I recognized the Croton Reservoir immediately! Lovely area.
