Catch today’s Wrexham AFC construction update from the stok cae ras we move another step closer to the arrival of the piling rigs. PPP Oconnor have now fully left the site and the last of their machinery has been taken away, leaving the Kop Stand redevelopment area looking quiet and almost deserted. I filmed early morning, evening and again tonight, but still no sign of the piling rigs that were due from the Yorkshire area. With more bad weather on the way, it is going to be interesting to see when the next phase of the Kop Stand build finally begins.

This video includes fresh drone footage, site details, and a look at the changing layout as Wrexham AFC prepare for the next big stage of construction. Follow the ongoing rise of the club under Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds, the full redevelopment journey, and every step of the new Kop Stand build. Thanks for watching and supporting the channel.

A really quick update today. No piling machines again. They were meant to come from the Yorkshire area on Tuesday, but things were delayed on their side and the weather has been awful right across the country. I am expecting them tomorrow, but honestly, I would not be surprised if we see another delay. PP Aconor left the site today, taking the last of their machinery with them. The whole place looked unusually quiet, almost deserted, apart from a lone security guard doing his rounds. The weather picked up as well, which feels a bit ironic because with torrential rain expected tomorrow, today would have been a far better day for the piling rigs to arrive. [Music] I will be honest, I was close to skipping an update today because not much was happening, but I decided to post the footage I had and let you know exactly what was or was not going on at the site. I flew early this morning, again this evening, and once more tonight, but there was still no sign of the piling rigs. I have added a bit of extra footage from today as well. Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] [Music] Thanks for watching and have a great day.

  1. Thanks for letting us know what does, and doesn't, happen. Always appreciated. Let's hope they start up again soon, however, if they arrive tomorrow, doubt you'll be able to film.

  2. I really enjoy your videos. I recently started following the Teams progress thru the Championship league table, and was wondering how the Town is feeling about the success the Lads are having this first season at the current level? It seemed like a slow start, but they really have improved, any thoughts of how the fans are feeling?

  3. HI Tom,Thanks for the update, well they will arrive when its safe to do so,I have heard that the weather is going to be bad all weeekend and just think we are going into December soon weather the weather could be worse with Snow and Rain then you have Xmas and New Year so the workforce could be off until January,so you need to take that into account.

  4. You showed that diagram from one of the build planning docs that showed how they plan to go about doing the pilings and where they will go. That might be interesting to look at again while we wait. Maybe even mark up the aerial view showing how they plan to do it… but your call, obviously…

  5. Wouldn’t surprise me if nothing much happens tomorrow thanks to Storm Claudia – my phone’s forecasting 34mm of rain for Wrexham tomorrow, and 15mm on Saturday (mind you, only another 19mm after that up until Saturday week!).

  6. I really enjoy watching these videos, from the stadium improvements, the new pitch being seeded/stitched in the summer, watching grass grow, to now, the kop build. It is so fascinating to watch the amazing journey of the club. I am an Ipswich supporter but I have taken an interest in Wrexham following the docs, like so many others and wish you all the very best, except for you when you play us! We look forward to welcoming Wrexham to Portman Road on the 22nd, Keep up the great work!

  7. Hi Tom, thanks again for the updates, really appreciated my friend. Just enquiring does the ground need to dry a little before starting the next phase or do they just need a gap in the weather? Would like to know your thoughts. Cheers again Tom 😀👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿⚽😀👍

  8. Thanks Tom!

I must say I find those grow lights pretty cool. They remind me of the colored lights you had in your room in the 60s and 70s 😂 The pitch is definitely looking great as a result though.

    Until tomorrow 😊

  9. The pitch looks incredible; hat's off to the ground staff for all their hard work. I wish my lawns looked like that, mind you they don't have a bloody great wolfhound tear-arsing all over it to worry about.

  10. Tom, I'll be sending you the material tomorrow as I have a free day. Had major problems with the builders on my house as they messed up in a big way, so I've had to deal with that first. Be assured, you'll get everything that's promised.

  11. Apologies if you’ve explained in another video that I somehow missed, but what’s the difference between the yellow and red grow lights? Safe to assume each rig can do multiple colors?
