  1. You need mudflaps that almost touch the ground, that would already remove 90% of mud getting on bike

    Then how often do you clean your bike chain? And how thorough? I’m struggling with the same thing in the Netherlands

  3. Do people not steal bikes in Belgium? If I locked my bike up like that in Denver, CO there is at least a 50% chance someone would cut the cable.

    You might want to look into a front fender that goes down further. I would think they’d be available in Belgium…

    …or a mud flap to put on your existing fender.

  6. Oh it’s just begun, I am currently praying for the height of dry winter sloppy leaf mush with mixed rutted road lakes just isn’t my jam for a commute.
