Was literally just cruising and jumped off the curb and went to pedal and the chain locked up and snapped sending me over the barsðŸ˜
This is the original chain with this Sunday complete and I’m just wondering if this is just a cheap chain or if I did something to cause this?? I used to ride a ton of dirt jumps on all different kinds of bikes (a lot cheaper bikes than this one too) and never had a chain snap like this especially when I wasn’t doing anything crazy

Basic chains are usually on most compete bikes, however no chain is indestructible, and many don’t inspect their chains enough to check for a cracked plate, or popped off side plate. Check them regularly, and replace maybe every year or 2 depending on use.
Well its not worth anything now
