I had a 2019 Farley (5 I think) and I regret selling it very much.

Currently on a 2022 Norco Bigfoot 3, added dropper, repainted frame, cables rattle really bad in frame so I stuffed a bunch of that foam cable coating stuff to silence after painting frame. Assuming you’d have the same issue with the Bigfoot 1 I’d just use caution there. And I hated the vee avalanche tires.

Buddy has a borealis and loves his. Super light and he’s put it though it’s paces for sure.

Bought a pair of Farley 5s Only rode once and I don’t mind the rigid fork, but if it’s your summer bike too then the suspension would be nice. I was running 10psi tubed and can see going to 8 psi to take a little more of the feels of the roots out. I do like how the rigid makes standing and pedaling feel more efficient. The micro shift is great (coming from GX axs on my Stumpjumper). The brakes are nice and have lever adjustment which I needed for the rear brake. The hub is super quiet and the engagement is great.

    Edit: spelling

My wife has the borealis and it’s a solid bike. I also like how it has a massive frame to put in a frame bag. Doing bike rides without a backpack is the best. Just stuff the frame bag with a puffy, water, an extra gloves.
